Zosia lived in a little yellow house at the edge of the woods, with a garden full of daisies, berries, and a wobbly rope swing. She loved digging in the soil, watering the flowers, and racing the wind with her skipping rope.
One sunny morning, while exploring the attic, she found an old pair of green glasses tucked inside a dusty box. The frames felt cold in her hands. When she slipped them on, the whole room shimmered. The beams in the floor glowed softly, and the dust in the air sparkled like tiny stars.
Zosia hurried outside, blinking. Across the grass, bright footprints shone one by one, clear as lanterns. They crossed the garden and stopped at the big raspberry bush.
“What is that?” Zosia whispered.
