On a warm evening in the garden, Tola and Franek hear a strange rustling in a big bush and creep closer to find out what is hiding inside.
It was a warm summer evening, and the garden behind the house was glowing gold. Tola and Franek walked along the path, listening to the last birds singing in the trees. Then, beside a big green bush, they heard it.
Rustle. Rustle.
Tola stopped so fast that she nearly dropped her teddy bear.
"Did you hear that, Franek?" she whispered.
Franek leaned forward, squinting at the thick leaves. "Maybe it's a hedgehog," he said, though his voice sounded smaller than usual.
The bush shivered again. A branch twitched. The leaves trembled as if something inside was trying to hide.
Tola stepped closer, her heart beating hard in her chest. Franek reached out and gently pushed the branches apart.
And then, deep in the dark green tangle, something moved back.
