In Szczotkolandia, Leo and Susie notice sticky teeth that should not be sticky at all. One night, they hide in the bathroom and wait for the strange visitor to appear.
At the very end of Miodowa Street stood a bright little house with a blue door and a tiny bathroom window that glowed at night. That was where Leo lived with his parents and his toothbrush, Flash. Every evening Leo brushed carefully, and Flash whisked over every tooth until it felt smooth and clean.
Across the street lived Susie, who had a pink toothbrush called Frotka. She brushed just as well as Leo. In Szczotkolandia, clean teeth were supposed to shine like little pearls.
So when Leo woke up one morning and found his dad's teeth oddly sticky, he stopped in the middle of breakfast. His dad had brushed the night before. Leo had seen him do it.
The next morning, Susie rushed over with wide eyes. Her own teeth were sticky too.
"Something is happening at night," she whispered.
That evening, Leo and Susie packed their toothbrushes and tiny magnifying glasses. They tiptoed into the bathroom and crouched under the table, hardly breathing. The tap dripped once. Then once more.
From somewhere in the dark came a soft, sneaky giggle.
A shadow slipped across the wall and moved closer to the sink....
