Pola, Bzyk, and the Rocket in the Shed

Pola and Bzyk find glowing lights in the garden and a hidden rocket. Inside waits a tiny alien with a surprising request.

One evening, just before bedtime, Pola saw bright colours blinking in the garden outside her window. Red. Blue. Gold. The lights danced between the flowers like tiny stars that had fallen from the sky.

Pola hurried to her best friend, Bzyk, a small silver robot with springy legs and little feelers on his head. He gave a soft buzz and peered out into the dark. "That is not garden-light behaviour," he whispered. Then he bounced toward the door. "Come on. Let's find out."

They tiptoed across the grass, following the glowing trail all the way to the old shed at the back of the garden. The door creaked open. Inside stood a rocket, shiny and round, painted with bright stars and squiggles. Pola stared. Bzyk blinked. Then a tiny voice came from deep inside the rocket: "Help! I can't go back without you!"

A small green alien popped into view, grinning with three curious eyes. Before Pola could speak, the rocket gave a sudden shiver and flashed brighter and brighter, as if it were waking up. Pola and Bzyk took one step closer to the doorway, and the rocket lights began to spin...
