Susie and the Silver Clock of Magical Journeys

Susie finds a strange silver clock in her grandfather’s attic, and one touch sends her spinning into a dazzling world full of tiny dinosaurs and mystery.

Susie loved visiting her grandfather in the old house on the hill. On rainy afternoons, when the wind rattled the windows and the attic smelled of dust and old wood, she liked to play among the boxes and trunks.

That day, behind a large chest, she found something she had never seen before: a silver clock with twisted hands. Strange marks circled its face, and a little smiling owl sat above the numbers.

"I've never seen this clock here," Susie whispered.

She reached out and touched the hands.

At once, they spun faster and faster. The attic shook. The floor seemed to tilt beneath her feet, and Susie felt light as a feather, as if the whole room had lifted her up and carried her away.

When she opened her eyes, she was standing in a bright place full of huge, colourful flowers. Tiny dinosaurs darted between the stems, squeaking as they played tag.

Then a bush rustled.

A child in a quirky blue hat leaned out and waved straight at Susie.
