Tosia and Antek discover a mysterious door in an old tenement house leading to an amazing workshop full of impossible things. Will they dare to cross the threshold of the extraordinary world of imagination?
Tosia and Antek had lived in the same tenement house forever. The tenement had a crooked staircase, creaky floors and a tiny attic that nobody liked to look into. Almost no one, because the children loved to look in here during rainy days. One afternoon, as a storm rolled over the city, Tosia found a small, purple key on the staircase. It was warm to the touch and shone even in the twilight.
At the very end of the narrow corridor, a door they had never seen before was reflected in the lightning. Antek was the first to notice a sign on them that read "Mrs Mirabella's workshop. Admission for brave dreamers only".
The door opened quietly and an unusual space stretched out before the children. Instead of an ordinary attic, there was a huge room with paintings hanging in the air, clocks that walked backwards and a table on which miniature paper lions danced. In the corner sat Mrs Mirabella - a petite, smiling woman in a sumptuous hat, with eyes like shiny buttons.
Suddenly Tosia saw a small door in the corner, through which a shadow resembling a winged cat looked out. Antek approached the table on which lay a map leading into the unknown.
The children looked at each other, unsure of what to choose and what adventure they had just embarked on. What would happen when they decided to take the first step?....
