Hania finds a glowing sock that whisks her into a magical world, where a purple rabbit begs for help finding the missing Sugar Key.
On a rainy morning, Hania sat on the carpet in her room with her colourful sock box in front of her. She was hunting for the missing mate to her favourite sock when her fingers touched something odd.
She pulled out a sock that shimmered with tiny starbursts. It looked as if moonlight had got tangled inside it. Hania laughed in surprise and slipped it onto her left foot.
At once, the room spun. The carpet dipped away beneath her. Hania gave a small gasp as she rose into the air, light as fluff.
When the swirling stopped, she blinked at a wonderland of rainbow trees and butterflies that sang in tinkly voices. Beside her stood a small purple rabbit with round glasses and a worried twitch in his nose.
"Hello, Hania," said the rabbit. "I’ve been waiting for you. The Sugar Key has gone missing, and without it, we can’t open the secret gate."
Hania’s heart beat fast with excitement. She was just opening her mouth to answer when something glinted deep in the grass. The rabbit grabbed her sleeve and whispered, "Did you see that?"
