Franek lives in a bright town and has a secret invisible cloak. At school, a strange glowing ball appears, and only he seems to notice it.
Franek lived in a small, colourful town with a red roof on his house and a big pear tree in the garden. Every morning he ate toast with strawberry jam, grabbed his schoolbag, and hurried off to class.
He had one secret that nobody knew. Tucked under his bed was an invisible coat. When Franek slipped it over his shoulders, he vanished at once. Not even Purr, the round grey cat, could find him.
That morning, Mrs Iga stood at the front of the classroom and clapped her hands. “Today,” she said, “we are making drawings of superheroes. The best one will win a prize!”
Franek’s eyes lit up. He wanted to make the best superhero of all.
When the break bell rang, he raced out onto the playground, thinking hard about capes, masks, and lightning-fast powers. But near the music room, he stopped so suddenly that his shoes squeaked.
A huge shiny ball was sitting by the wall.
It was smooth and bright, like a moon fallen to earth. Then it changed colour. Blue. Pink. Gold. Tiny stars flashed across it and disappeared again.
Franek took one step closer. His heart thumped in his chest.
“Can you see it too?” whispered a voice from somewhere behind him.
Franek spun around. No one was there.
Then the ball gave a soft glow, and a quiet whisper brushed his ear: “Franek, only you can find what’s hiding inside...”
He lifted his hand, and the shiny ball began to hum.
